LOCAL GOLF CHARITIES Krispy Kreme offers free doughnuts

Recognized nonprofit and charitable organizations and golf aces are eligible.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc., has announced a "Golf Fore Fun" program to support charity golf and grassroots golfers in the Youngstown area.
The program is designed to provide support for special fund-raising golf tournaments throughout the tri-county area. In addition the program includes rewards for holes-in-one and opportunities for golf leagues to enjoy great savings on doughnuts at their various events.
"Golf is a big part of the Youngstown community and our special Krispy Kreme Golf Fore Fun program provides several ways in which we can recognize and support those who enjoy the game in our town," said Tony Tirabassi, manager of the Boardman Krispy Kreme store.
The program has three ways it will support the area golfers.
How to qualify
The Charity Event support includes complimentary morning doughnuts for participants in charity golf tournaments in which proceeds are donated to recognized nonprofit and charitable organizations. Organizers should contact Tirabassi to place orders.
The holes in one awards includes golfers who score an ace qualify for a certificate for a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts a month for a year. The lucky golfers must bring their scorecards, signed by the golf course professional or owner, to the score to receive their awards.
The final phase is the golf league support where organizers of golf league field days and other special league events are eligible to participate in a program where they can receive a free dozen doughnuts for every dozen they buy. Again league officers are urged to contact the store in advance of their field days to place orders.
