Kathleen Knight to be bride of Thomas Shobel Jr.

XMcDONALD -- The engagement of Kathleen Knight and Thomas Shobel Jr. is being announced by their parents, Ronald and Marianne Knight and Thomas Sr. and Wanda Shobel, all of McDonald.
The couple's open ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. July 24 at St. Rose Church in Girard. A reception by invitation will be held that evening at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, Youngstown.
The future bride holds an associate degree in business management from Kent State University and is employed in the accounting department at Trumbull Mahoning Medical Group in Cortland.
Mr. Shobel attended Ohio University in Athens and is a postal carrier with the McDonald post office.
