And then there's another kind of family relationship. "The In-Laws" (8 p.m., HBO) features Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks star as contrasting future fathers-in-law in this 2003 comedy. Wild adventures ensue when the cautious podiatrist (Brooks) is drawn into the world of the daredevil secret agent (Douglas). It's a remake of a 1979 movie starring Peter Falk and Alan Arkin.
Julianne Moore replaced Jodie Foster in the Clarice Starling role in this 2001 sequel to "The Silence of the Lambs," but Anthony Hopkins returned as the title character "Hannibal" (8 p.m., CBS). Not the most pleasant of subjects, even edited for TV, but one that fascinates plenty of people.
