Spouse: Married George Plowman in 1923. They were married for 72 years until his death in 1995.
Children: Two daughters and their spouses, Darlene and Bob Nischwitz of Canfield and Betty and Clair Kirkpatrick of Palmetto, Fla. A daughter, Arlene, died in 1928.
Grandchildren: Three.
Great-grandchildren: Six.
Background: Mrs. Plowman is the seventh of 10 children in the family of Henry and Effie Croasmun. She relocated in 1923 to Youngstown, where her husband found work at Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. The Plowmans lived on Cohasset Drive until 1957 when they moved to Truesdale Road in Boardman. They spent their winters in Florida for 40 years. Mrs. Plowman is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Youngstown. She enjoys playing cards.
Celebration: A family gathering is planned May 29 at the Saxon Club in Austintown.
