XBOARDMAN -- Anuradha Perni and Anup Bendre, both of Chicago, exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony at 12:45 p.m. April 10 at Mr. Anthony's, where a reception also took place.
Parents of the bride are Drs. Veeraiah C. and Lakshmi Perni, 2717 Arabian Drive, Hubbard.
The groom is a son of Ashok and Seema Bendre of Chicago.
The newlyweds honeymooned in French Polynesia and live in Chicago.
The bride graduated from the University of Akron and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown. She is an anesthesiologist at Northwestern University in Chicago.
The groom graduated from theUniversity of Illinois at Chicago. He is an surgeon in orthopedics at Northwestern.
The bride wore a traditional Indian sari of maroon silk studded with swarovski crystals. The couple wore rose garlands.
