Sneak peek at Potter

Sneak peek at Potter
On Sunday at 7 p.m., ABC will air an extended version of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," plus a 10-minute sneak peek at this summer's new movie, "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkhaban."
Milking it
Eric Chacon was having a pretty typical year, until a contest made the Marcus High School newspaper sports editor a champion for milk and pro basketball.
The 17-year-old from Copper Canyon, Texas, is the first Got Milk? Rookie Reporter, interviewing NBA stars about, what else? Milk.
"The thing about NBA players," says Eric, "they all eat a lot of cereal. Steve Nash ate cereal with his milk. Dwyane Wade has to have cereal every night before he goes to bed.
"And LeBron James is obsessed with Fruity Pebbles."
'Pop Rocks!'
ABC Family has started production on "Pop Rocks!," an original movie that will air in September.
The movie focuses on Jerry Harden (played by Gary Cole of "Office Space"), a banker and family man in his 40s who carries a secret: He was once the lead singer of a very successful heavy metal band in the '80s.
He's offered the chance to reunite the band for one final performance -- with a huge paycheck attached. Can he pull it off without ever revealing his identity to his family and friends? Let the deception begin.

"I've seen a lot of films lately that make you feel there's no way out. That's not my world view -- I'm much more hopeful than that. I believe in people. I believe that things can work out." -- Actress Julianne Moore, in InStyle.

For many teens, the kitchen can be an intimidating place. Cooking usually means heating prepackaged foods in the microwave. However, learning how to prepare meals isn't as difficult as it may seem. The Internet has plenty of resources to help you pick up this important life skill.
For those that have never cooked before, you'll want to check out the article "How to Survive in the Kitchen" from the BBC.com's teen section (www.bbc.co.uk/teens/lads/life/lifecheats/kitchen.shtml).
Now that you've brushed up on the basics, it's time to don the apron, wash your hands and get cooking! But first you'll need a few recipes to get you started. You can find a menu for teen cooks on the Web site of chef Emeril Lagasse (www.emerils.com/cooking/menus/may--2003/menus--12--19.htm ). The menu features spaghetti pie with homemade red sauce, garlic bread and white chocolate-chip brownie ice-cream sandwiches.
