CANFIELD
April 26
Theft: About $225 was stolen from Harv's Cars, 650 W. Main St. Someone broke into a cabinet in the auto shop and took the money.
Theft: A Salem woman reported that she had attended a function at St. Michael Church, 281 Glenview Road, and someone stole her purse, which contained a debit card and her driver's license.
April 28
Theft of trailer: A 20-foot aluminum trailer rigged for motorcycle transport was stolen from the parking lot at Canfield Cylinder Heads, 580 W. Main St.
Theft of mail: A resident of the 200 block of Timber Run Drive reported the theft of mail, including correspondence and personal papers.
April 29
Theft of tools: A cell phone, a 2400-amp welder, a 100-gallon fuel tank and a pump were taken from the residence of an employer in the 500 block of West Regency Circle by an employee. The employee called later in the day and said he was quitting, but the owner alleges he has not been able to get the ex-employee to return the items he took.
April 30
Criminal mischief: Police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown man and a 19-year-old Youngstown woman on charges of criminal mischief. They are accused of scratching a Chevrolet Cavalier with a key. The car was parked in the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center parking lot, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
May 2
Drug possession: An 18-year-old Youngstown man was arrested on traffic charges at Blueberry Hill and Herbert Road. An 18-year-old Boardman woman who was a passenger was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug possession. Police reported the suspect had a multicolored marijuana pipe with marijuana in it and a plastic case with a small amount of marijuana.

April 26
Breaking and entering: A tool chest was stolen from Penguin Products Co., 3805 Hendricks Road.
Theft from auto: Checks were stolen from a vehicle at Bank One, 5531 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1989 Chevrolet pickup was stolen from Blue Ribbon Motors, 4004 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was scratched with a key in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft from auto: A man was charged with stealing change from a vehicle at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A wallet was stolen from Rack's, 4213 Mahoning Ave.
April 27
Assault: A juvenile male is to appear in Mahoning County Juvenile Court on a charge of assaulting a 15-year-old girl at Fitch High School.
Theft: A purse with cash, credit cards and other personal items was stolen from Meridian Arms, 650 S. Meridian Road.
April 28
Theft: Money was stolen from a purse at Fitch High School.
Theft: A washer and dryer were stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Assault: A 15-year-old female was assaulted by a 43-year-old female in the 1000 block of Cavalcade Drive.
April 29
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged in the 3000 block of Nottingham Avenue.
Burglary: Money was taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Theft: A 2001 Suzuki Bandit was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of North Kimberly Road.
Theft: A spray-paint gun was stolen from True 2 Form, 5461 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: Paint on a vehicle was damaged in the 80 block of Westchester Drive.
Trespassing: Two men were arrested on a charge of trespassing at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
April 30
Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested during a traffic stop at Kirk and Raccoon roads on a charge of possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor.
Burglary: An iguana was taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
May 1
Drug offense: A Youngstown man was arrested on a charge of marijuana possession at Interstate 680 and North Meridian Road.
Theft: A green stunt bike was stolen from a residence in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Theft from auto: A damaged door lock and a CD player were stolen from a vehicle parked at BW-3, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
May 2
Theft: $150 in cash was stolen from a register at McDonald's, 1709 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Five lawn ornaments were taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Aspen Drive.
Theft from auto: Dealer registration plates were stolen from a vehicle owned by Fairway Ford at Wal-Mart.
Theft: Someone broke into a coin machine at Jamestown Industries, 650 N. Meridian Road.
