Health board members are appointed to five-year terms by an advisory council made up of a county commissioner, township trustees and representatives of cities and villages. The current five members:
Dr. Jack Amato, chairman: Gynecologist with practice in East Liverpool. Home: St. Clair Ave., East Liverpool. Originally appointed 1980. Appointment expires 2006.
Shawn Apple, vice chairman: Vice president of Ray Lewis & amp; Co., Lisbon. Home: Lakeview Drive, Hanoverton. Originally appointed 1994. Appointment expires this year.
Matt Borza: Owner, Pondi's Restaurant, Lisbon. Home: Black Road, Lisbon. Originally appointed 2003. Appointment expires 2008.
Thomas Haugh: Pharmacy technician in Wellsville. Home: 10th Street Extension, Wellsville. Originally appointed 2001. Appointment expires 2005.
William Catlett: President of Petersburg Co. Inc., Lisbon. Home: Desellem Road, Lisbon. Originally appointed 2003. Appointment expires 2007.
