First Place Insurance acquires Weigel, Lackey & amp; Ross in Poland

WARREN -- First Place Insurance Agency has acquired Weigel, Lackey & amp; Ross Insurance Agency in Poland.
Weigel, Lackey & amp; Ross specializes in employee benefit programs for individuals and businesses, which include life and health insurance, group dental programs and retirement plans. First Place Insurance Agency is a subsidiary of Warren-based First Place Financial Corp., which is the parent company of First Place Bank as well.
"We are excited about this acquisition, as it allows First Place to add seasoned sales professionals with over 25 years' experience in employee benefit programs," said Dan Landers, president of First Place Insurance. All employees of Weigel, Lackey & amp; Ross are expected to join First Place Insurance.
