Parents announce Evan and Hymes engagement

XERIE, Pa. -- The engagement of Kristen Evan, 4019 Rilling Ave., and Gregory Hymes of Erie is being announced by their parents.
The bride-to-be is a daughter of John and Joann Evan, 3058 Chablis Lane, Poland. Parents of the future groom are Greg Hymes of Boardman and Evelyn Sheridan of Seminole, Fla.
Miss Evan graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in biology. She is a first-year student at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Mr. Hymes is the director of engineering with Extreme Engineered Solutions in Youngstown. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at YSU.
The couple will exchange marriage vows July 3 during an open-church ceremony at 2 p.m. at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Campbell. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.
