Miss Simmons, Robert Lipasky set wedding date

XEAST PALESTINE -- Paul and Rhonda Simmons, 5220 Adams Road, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Simmons, and Robert Lipasky, both of 372 Shaner Road, Volant, Pa.
The couple's June 19 wedding will take place at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia, where an open-church ceremony is planned for 4:30 p.m. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at Heid Hall in East Palestine.
Miss Simmons graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa., where she is pursuing a master's degree as a reading specialist. She is a substitute teacher.
Mr. Lipasky, a designer with Supreme Manufacturing Inc. in Stoneboro, Pa., earned an associate degree at Pittsburgh Technical Institute. He is a son of the late Robert and Barbara Lipasky.
