Miss Baker to wed Brian Slaven in spring ceremony

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Gerleana Baker and Brian Slaven, both of 719 Palmer Ave., are announcing their engagement.
The bride-to-be is a daughter of Marcella Baker of 820 W. Woodland Ave., and Jerry Baker of Youngstown. The future groom is a son of Debrah Slaven of 25 Harvey St., and Richard Slaven of New Middletown.
May 29 has been chosen as the couple's wedding day. They will exchange marriage vows during a ceremony planned for 4 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church. An evening reception is scheduled at Oak View Catering in Lowellville. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception.
Mr. Slaven is employed by Metro Remodeling.
