EVENTS| National Day of Prayer

Thursday is the National Day of Prayer. Events include:
Mahoning County: A prayer service will be at noon at the Nathaniel R. Jones Federal Building in Youngstown.
A community "Concert of Prayer" will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Free Methodist Community Church in New Middletown.
The Campbell Ecumenical Council of Churches will have an observance at 11 a.m. next Saturday at the community center in Roosevelt Park.
Trumbull County: A Bible reading will be from 8 a.m. to about 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Trumbull County Courthouse gazebo.
A prayer vigil will be at 6:30 a.m. Thursday at Believers' Christian Fellowship, Warren.
A service will be at noon Thursday at First Church of the Nazarene in Warren.
Lawrence County: A service will be at noon Thursday at St. James the Apostle Parish in New Bedford, Pa., followed by a light lunch. Reservations can be made at (724) 964-8276.
