If the Kentucky Derby leaves you admiring those fine horses, check out the new documentary "Thoroughbred" (8 p.m., Animal Planet), about a year in the life of a thoroughbred horse farm. Filmmakers follow a family operation that stays with its horses from birth to retirement.
Denzel Washington stars in "Remember the Titans" (8 p.m., ABC), a 2000 theatrical film based on a true story. T.C. Williams High School is the setting for a life lesson, when a federal mandate to integrate sends students of all races to the suburban Virginia school. Despite the presence at the school of a successful white football coach, Herman Boone -- played by Washington -- is hired to coach the team. While some white players threaten to strike until Boone is replaced, the Titans eventually put aside their differences and go undefeated for the 1971 season.
On "Megas XLR" (9 p.m., Cartoon Network), reptilian aliens from the future attack New Jersey in an attempt to destroy an 80-foot robot. And they say nothing interesting happens in Jersey.
The original movie "Mary Higgins Clark's I'll Be Seeing You" (9 p.m., PAX) is based on the 1993 bestseller by Clark, a popular suspense novelist. When Patricia Collins, played by Alison Eastwood, is asked to identify the body of a young woman found dead near her ranch, she realizes the dead woman appears to be her identical twin -- with Collins' name and address on a slip of paper in her pocket.
Lindsay Lohan is host of "Saturday Night Live" (11:30 p.m., NBC) and Usher is musical guest. They are two entertainers barely old enough to stay up this late.
