XST. ANN BAY, Jamaica -- The beach at Breezes Runaway Bay Resort in St. Ann Bay, was the setting at 2 p.m. March 9 for the wedding of Dana Renee Phillips of Blissfield, Mich., and Christopher Lee Sargent of Boardman.
The ceremony was officiated by Marvin Tracy, marriage officer, and a reception was held immediately afterward at the resort. The couple spent their honeymoon in Jamaica.
Parents of the bride are Letah and Richard Kilmer of Blissfield and Edward and Linda Phillips of Manchester, Tenn. The groom's parents are Carole J. Moore of Liberty, and Robert and Jean Sargent of North Benton.
Jenica Padilla of Blissfield served as the honor attendant, and the bridesmaid was Kristy Gottschalk of Adrian, Mich.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, James Bumgardner of Canfield, and groomsman was Alan Stratton Jr. of St. Louis, Mo., also a brother of the groom.
The bride graduated from Jackson Community College in Jackson, Mich., with an associate degree in nursing. She is a licensed practical nurse and is a district manager with Renaissance Homes Inc. in Adrian.
The groom, a supervisor with General Motors Corp. in Lordstown, earned a bachelor's degree at Youngstown State University.
