Miss El-khouri to be bride of Aaron Friedkin

XYOUNGSTOWN -- The engagement of Renee Lynn El-khouri and Aaron Michael Friedkin, both of 1750 Hampshire Lane, Cleveland, is announced by the bride-to-be's mother, Rosann El-khouri, 520 Santa Monica Drive.
The bride-elect also is a daughter of the late Ziad El-khouri. Parents of the future groom are Alan and Carol Friedkin, 5600 Sampson Drive, Girard.
The couple will exchange marriage vows during a private ceremony May 29 at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef at St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where a reception also is planned.
Miss El-khouri graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Mich., with a bachelor's degree in communication studies. She is employed as an assistant merchandise manager with Jo-Ann Stores Inc. in Hudson.
The future groom earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and biology at the University of Michigan. He will graduate in May from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine with a medical degree and a master's degree in applied anatomy. Mr. Friedkin will begin a transitional year internship at Akron General Medical Center in July followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Michigan in July 2005.
