Basista-Murray wedding plans are announced

XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Basista are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Marilyn Elizabeth Basista, and Alan Lee Murray Jr., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan L. Murray, all of Boardman.
Miss Basista graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in education with concentration in English and certification in elementary education and gifted and talented education. She earned a master's degree in elementary education from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa. She is employed by Poland Local School District as a teacher of gifted and talented students.
Mr. Murray is vice president of Alan Murray Insurance Agency. He graduated from KSU with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
The couple will exchange nuptial vows during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony that will take place Aug. 6 at St. Christine Church, Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and also for an evening reception at The Georgetown.
