Summary of police activity in Boardman:
March 16
Domestic violence: An Argyle Avenue man, 41, was arrested at his residence and charged with two counts of domestic violence. Two women alleged he struck them, and one of the victims had a bruise on the right side of her face.
Theft: A Diamond, Ohio, man reported he was defrauded out of $56,579 through an investment scheme in the 8000 block of Market Street.
Theft: Someone left a Marathon gas station, 965 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying for $20 worth of gasoline.
Theft: Someone pumped $30 worth of gasoline and left a Shell True North gas station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying.
Theft, criminal damage: A Youngstown man discovered a lock was cut off his locker at Club South Health & amp; Fitness Center, 7120 Tiffany Blvd. His car keys were taken, and $44 was removed from his vehicle.
Theft: Police arrested a 16-year-old Youngstown girl on a theft charge after a pair of shorts and a bathing suit were stolen from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A 40-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after nine packs of cigarettes were taken from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 7700 block of Hitchcock Road found damage to her mailbox, as well as tire ruts in her front lawn. Damage was estimated at $170.
Theft: A Canfield man reported a gold wristwatch and a gold wedding band missing from his locker at Creekside Fitness & amp; Health Center, 1419 Boardman-Canfield Road. Estimated value of the items was $1,700.
Arrests: Police arrested two Hitchcock Road men, 27 and 23, at their residence on outstanding warrants. Charges included probation violation, criminal trespass, theft and driving under suspension.
Theft: A 19-year-old Boardman woman faced a theft charge after two rings and a T-shirt were stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
March 17
Arrest: Police arrested a 39-year-old Youngstown man on Federal Plaza West. He was charged with driving under suspension and providing false information during a traffic stop near Jeanette Drive and Market Street after a Canfield man reported his identity was fraudulently used.
Arrest: While assisting the Boardman Fire Department at the scene of a fire, police arrested a 24-year-old Glenwood Avenue man at his home. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with contempt of court, and also was charged with resisting arrest after officers say he refused to be arrested.
Criminal damage: A Boardman woman reported someone used a key to scratch her car's driver's-side door finish while she was at the YMCA, 46 McClurg Road.
Theft: Police arrested two Struthers boys, 13 and 14, on theft charges after nine compact discs and DVDs valued at $114.36 were taken from Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A New Waterford woman discovered her purse, $25 in cash and her wallet had been removed from her car when she was at Club South Health & amp; Fitness Center.
Arrest: A 25-year-old Poland man was arrested near Midlothian and Euclid boulevards on one count of failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under suspension.
Criminal damage, criminal mischief: Someone moved a wooden sign posted near Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave., into the roadway where it was damaged.
March 18
Vandalism: An employee at The Rhiel Supply Co., 7375 South Ave., reported $2,300 in damage to a 24-foot-by-54-foot pool.
Assault: A Berlin Center man told police he was struck in the head while in the Southern Park Mall parking lot.
Criminal damage: A Leetonia woman reported $100 in damage to her vehicle's driver's-side door window after she left Tinseltown USA, 7401 Market St.
Theft: Police arrested a boy, 16, and a girl, 15, both from Youngstown, on theft charges after $396 worth of clothing and jewelry was stolen from the J.C. Penney store.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 16-year-old Shields Road boy at his home on a domestic-violence charge after his mother alleged the boy attempted to harm her.
Criminal damage: A North Benton man found numerous scratches and dents on his truck's passenger side after he left Wal-Mart. Damage was estimated at $350.
Breaking and entering: A Pierce Drive man reported someone used a tool to pry open a lock latch and break into his tool shed.
Criminal damage: An employee at The Honda Store, 448 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered someone used BBs to break and damage windows to two vehicles parked on a sales lot. Damage was estimated at $550.
Theft: A woman in the 400 block of Tudor Lane reported a $250 DVD-VHS player missing from her family room.
Theft: Someone left Wal-Mart without paying for two DVD sets.
Theft: Police charged a 10-year-old Campbell boy with theft after five Sony PlayStation 2 video games valued at $79.95 were removed from Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road.
March 19
Theft, criminal damage: A South Avenue woman discovered damage to her car, and a cellular phone, her purse, several credit cards, a debit card and a $140 ring stolen.
Theft, criminal damage: A Canfield man reported his vehicle's passenger-side window broken and his daughter's purse missing while he was at Tinseltown USA.
Arrest: A 23-year-old Struthers woman was charged with telecommunications harassment after a Lynn Mar Avenue man reported being the victim of telephone harassment at his residence.
Theft: A Hillman Way woman noticed her vehicle's rear license plate had been removed while the car was in a nearby carport.
Criminal damage: A Erskine Avenue woman reported her grandson's vehicle's driver's-side window had been smashed while the car was parked in front of her home.
Theft: A Poland man told police someone stole $175 and his Ohio driver's license while he was at First Place Bank, 3900 Market St.
Theft, forgery: An employee at The Fragrance Collection, 6126 Market St., reported receiving three checks for $87.58, $170 and $179.55 -- all of which were counterfeit or forged.
Theft: An employee at CFC Business Management, 4800 Market St., discovered $2,340 in cash and a $300 money order stolen.
Criminal damage: An Indian Trail man noticed suspicious tire marks in his front yard, resulting in $600 in damage.
March 20
Drugs: After trying to locate a runaway juvenile, police arrested an 18-year-old Boardman man in the 200 block of Washington Boulevard on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers say they found a suspected marijuana pipe and a bag of suspected marijuana.
Stolen property: Police recovered two stolen street signs, in the 30 block of Crestline Place, after someone reported seeing some juveniles carrying the signs.
Theft: A vehicle parked in the 7400 block of East Parkside Drive had its rear license plate removed.
Criminal damage: A woman reported damage to her car's front license plate in the 4000 block of Hillman Way.
Criminal damage: Someone drove a vehicle through a back yard in the 6700 block of Bristlewood Drive, causing about $50 in damage.
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 300 block of Meadowbrook Avenue reported $100 in damage to a section of nylon siding on her home.
Theft: An East Palestine woman reported her vehicle had been entered, and a $300 CD player, a cellular phone and other items taken, while she was at Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road.
March 21
Criminal damage: A man noticed six small dents on his car's passenger-side door, resulting in $300 in damage, when the vehicle was parked at Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Domestic violence: A 23-year-old Boardman man was arrested in the 1500 block of Brownlee Avenue and charged with domestic violence after a Shields Road woman reported being a victim. She had injuries to her jaw.
Theft: A Hitchcock Road woman reported her Ohio driver's license was stolen while she was in the 7300 block of West Boulevard.
Theft: Someone stole a $22 pair of gold earrings from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
March 22
Auto theft: A 1998 GMC Z-71 was stolen in the 4300 block of Lake Park Road.
Criminal damage: An employee at LeModeln Model & amp; Talent Agency, 7536 Market St., discovered her vehicle's passenger-side door, as well as its fender and hood, had been damaged. Estimated damage was $2,000.
Theft: An employee at Detco Fabrications, 415 McClurg Road, reported someone stole 375 aluminum spacers valued at $1,177.50.
Theft: An employee at Phoenix Systems Group, 755 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered $201.78 missing from an office.
Theft: An Austintown boy, 17, and a Youngstown man, 18, were arrested on Sierra Madre Trail and charged with theft after merchandise was stolen from Kaufmann's.
Criminal damage: Someone caused an undetermined amount of lawn damage to property belonging to Ohio Edison in the 6200 block of Appleridge Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a 13-year-old Youngstown girl on a theft charge after three CDs were taken from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A man noticed three credit cards stolen from him while he was at Astre Total Fitness & amp; Rehabilitation Center, 374 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Two Austintown girls, 15 and 17, were charged with theft after four shirts valued at $90 were stolen from Kaufmann's.
Criminal damage: A Poland woman reported someone smashed her vehicle's rear windshield and used a key to damage its finish while the car was parked at the Outback Steakhouse, 7000 Tiffany Blvd. Damage was estimated at $2,700.
Arrest: After conducting a traffic stop near U.S. Route 224 and West Boulevard, police arrested a 38-year-old Warren man on one count of failure to appear in court on a probation violation charge.
