GIRARD
March 14
Assault: A South Davis Street man alleged that another man shoved and threatened him during a basketball game at Girard High School, 31 N. Ward Ave.
Assault, criminal damage: A Miller Street woman alleged her former boyfriend kicked her front door, punched a hole through a window and struck her.
March 15
Theft: An employee at Santisi's IGA Super Center, 419 N. State St., alleged three juveniles, two age 11 and one age 13, tried to take two bottles of alcohol.
Arrest: After a Verona Street woman called police to report that another woman was making threats, officers arrested a Girard woman near Elruth Avenue on a charge of driving under the influence.
Breaking and entering: Someone forced open a door to a garage in the 10 block of Maple Avenue and took three bicycles, a cordless power-tool set and another item.
HUBBARD
March 10
Criminal mischief: A Waugh Drive woman alleged that a group of juveniles removed some slats from her fence, and that one of the juveniles may have tossed a slat into a nearby trash bin.
Assault: A John White Road woman alleged a male pupil at Reed Middle School, 150 Hall Ave., hit her 13-year-old daughter in the forehead with a nail at the school.
March 12
Bad check: An employee for the city of Hubbard reported that a Farrell, Pa., woman paid an $85 traffic ticket with a check later returned for insufficient funds.
Theft: A Middlefield woman discovered that someone had removed a temporary tag from her vehicle.
March 13
Possible assault: A woman in the 300 block of Rebecca Avenue alleged her former boyfriend refused to leave her home and threatened her.
March 14
Criminal damage: A West Park Avenue woman alleged her former boyfriend damaged her vehicle.
Theft: Someone left Dollar General, 884 W. Liberty St., without paying for an undetermined number of items.
March 15
Criminal damage: An employee at ATC Lighting Co., 400 Myron St., reported someone broke 21 windows at the business.
Theft: An employee at Devine's Shop 'n' Save, 529 N. Main St., reported someone stole a can of baby formula.
LIBERTY
March 9
Theft: An employee at Foust Construction Inc., 1700 Wilson Ave., reported four chains with binders stolen. Estimated amount of the loss was $300.
Theft: A Youngstown man reported his wallet stolen from his room at the American Inn, 1600 Motor Inn Drive.
Arrest: After pulling over his vehicle for having no front license plate, police arrested a 28-year-old Youngstown man at a BP gas station, 2703 Belmont Ave. The man was wanted on a warrant charging him with assault.
Theft: A man told police his wife saw three suspicious men backing their car out of her driveway in the 3500 block of Denver Drive. A $400 drill press, a red toolbox, a welder and various tools were discovered missing from the couple's garage.
March 10
Arrest: After stopping a vehicle near state Route 193 and Darlington Avenue, police arrested a 42-year-old Youngstown man on a parole violation charge.
Arrest: After conducting a traffic stop at the American Inn, police held a 33-year-old Youngstown woman wanted on a warrant from Warren charging her with criminal damage.
Menacing: A Campbell woman alleged her former boyfriend drove up to her in his car and threatened to kill her on two occasions, and that the man owns a firearm.
Arrest: A Youngstown woman, 36, was arrested at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., on a warrant charging her with passing bad checks. She also was charged with resisting arrest.
March 11
Robbery: An Orchard Avenue woman alleged that a man in his 20s lured her out of her apartment, punched her in the face in the hallway, struck her a second time and took her money. The woman later retrieved her money.
Arrest: Police arrested a 26-year-old Youngstown man at his residence on a felony warrant from Niles charging him with domestic violence.
March 12
Domestic violence: A 48-year-old Vienna man was arrested at a residence in the 3400 block of Hadley Avenue and charged with domestic violence.
Felonious assault: A Youngstown man alleged that, as he drove on state Route 193, a car stopped in front of him, and a co-worker got out and punched him in his ear. The victim sought medical attention.
March 13
Breaking and entering: Two people told police a maintenance garage in the 6600 block of Belmont Avenue had been broken into, and that a circular saw, two jigsaws and various saw blades, levels and drill bits were removed. Estimated value of the items was $80.
Arrest: Police arrested a 30-year-old Austintown man at a BP gas station, 2703 Belmont Ave., on a warrant charging him with telecommunications harassment.
Arrests: After investigating a suspicious vehicle in the Econo Lodge parking lot, 1615 E. Liberty St., and determining the car to be stolen, police arrested a man, 30, and a woman, 34, both from Warren. Each was charged with felony receiving stolen property (auto). Officers recovered from inside the vehicle six portable radios, a gas detector, prescription medications and several tools.
Arrest: After stopping a vehicle on Gypsy Lane for having a cracked windshield, police arrested a 46-year-old Youngstown man on various traffic violations.
March 14
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A man in the 1300 block of Crumrine Street alleged his grandson refused to return the victim's 1993 Chevrolet Cavalier.
Arrest: A 20-year-old Youngstown man was arrested near Belmont Avenue and Gypsy Lane on a charge of failure to appear in court on a felony warrant charging him with drug abuse.
