XMINERAL RIDGE -- Joseph A. Franklin and his bride, the former Patricia A. Loar, were honored during a reception held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hubbard following their wedding on Feb. 14 at First Presbyterian Church of Mineral Ridge.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony performed by the Rev. Mark Phillips. They spent their honeymoon in Columbus and live at 208 N. Beverly Ave., Austintown.
The bride is a daughter of Shirley Bing, 4813 Westchester Drive, Austintown, and the late John J. Bing. She is a secretary with the Cafaro Company in Youngstown.
Mr. Franklin is a son of Harry Franklin, 1380 Holland, Youngstown, and the late Rita Franklin. He is a site supervisor with National Security Consultants in Niles.
A floral design enhanced the bride's ankle-length white sheath dress and jacket.
Red gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Candie Smith of Columbus, and the bridesmaids, Rose Gibson of Youngstown, a sister of the groom, and Jennifer Roth of Hubbard. Flower girl was Cynthia Loar of Austintown, a daughter of the bride.
Kenneth Roth of Hubbard served as best man, and groomsmen were the groom's brothers, James Franklin of Cleveland and Michael Franklin of Youngstown. Ring bearer was Anthony Gibson of Youngstown, his nephew.
