Miss Wise to wed Michael Shirilla in spring rite

XCHICAGO -- Susan Wise and Michael Shirilla, both of 3828 N. Marshfield, are engaged.
The bride-to-be is a daughter of Thomas and Jean Wise of Pawleys Island, S.C. Parents of the prospective groom are Joseph and Jean Shirilla of Avondale Avenue, Youngstown.
Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church will be the setting for the couple's wedding to take place at 6 p.m. May 8. A reception will follow at Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country, also in Pawleys Island. A postnuptial reception is planned for Aug. 6 at the Saxon Club in Austintown.
Miss Wise graduated from Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pa., with a bachelor's degree in international business and is pursuing a master's in human resources at Loyola University. She is employed as the dental-care coordinator with Northwestern Hospital.
Mr. Shirilla received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill., and is enrolled in a master's program in community development at North Park University. He is an automotive-product development engineer with Federal Mogal in Skokie, Ill.
