Cobb-McGough wedding to be in North Carolina

XPOLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Watson, 22 Fieldstone Drive, are announcing the engagement of their son, William John McGough Jr., 5710 Wintercrest Lane, Charlotte, N.C., and Amanda Ruth Cobb of Greensboro, N.C.
Miss Cobb is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt S. Cobb of Pinetops, N.C.. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Mr. McGough, also a son of the late William John McGough Sr., is vice president with Banc of America Securities LLC, Syndicated Capital Markets in Charlotte. He graduated from Ohio University at Athens.
The couple's wedding has been planned for 6 p.m. June 12 at Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. A reception will follow at the Charlotte City Club.
