March 10
Theft by deception: A Russo Drive couple wrote a check for $200 as a down payment to a man who said he was a Cleveland interior designer as partial payment for work to be done on a room in their home. The man cashed the check, but failed to meet with the couple for a conference on the work to be done and hasn't returned numerous phone calls.
March 11
Illegal processing of a drug document: A 46-year-old Salem woman was arrested and charged for changing the number of pills she was prescribed on a Vicodin prescription from her doctor which she presented at Buckeye Pharmacy, 12 N. Broad St.
March 12
Drug arrest: A woman at Village Apartments, Fairground Boulevard, was taken to Forum Health Northside Medical center after she had called her counselor and said she had attempted suicide four times that day. The counselor called police, who found a soda pop can with pot ash in it and a spoon with suspected heroin on it. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possessing and concealing drugs.
Arrest: Police charged two boys, one 15 and the other 14, with drug abuse (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police found 12.5 grams of suspected marijuana with two suspected marijuana cigarette remnants, a cigarette, and a dollar bill rolled up with suspected marijuana inside of it on the pair in the 300 block of Carriage Lane.

March 6
Criminal damage: Two tires were punctured and a vehicle was scratched in numerous places at Compass West Apartments, 1080 Compass West.
Burglary: A VCR, CD and DVD player were stolen from a residence the 400 block of North Four Mile Run Road.
March 7
Theft: Two males were arrested and placed in county jail for stealing from a vehicle at The Babylon, 114 Javit Court.
Theft: Household items were taken by a renter from the 600 block of Kirk Road.
Criminal damage: A vehicle driver's door lock was damaged in the residential 200 block of Birch Trace Drive.
Theft: An arrest was made of a male suspect for theft from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: A screen was cut and jewelry stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Lost or stolen purse: A purse was reported missing at Marc's, 4755 Mahoning Ave., containing a checkbook, cell phone and papers.
Criminal mischief: A home was hit with paint balls in the 5000 block of Madrid Drive.
Theft: Vending machines were stolen from the 4000 block of Mahoning Ave.
March 8
Aggravated menacing: A victim was threatened by a female in the 50 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Disrupting public service: Phone lines were pulled from a panel in the residential 4000 block of Westchester Square.
Theft: A total of $2,000 and a driver's license were stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Oakwood Avenue.
March 9
Criminal damage: A vinyl fence was damaged at Trax, 4250 New Road.
Auto theft: A 1991 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from the residential 1000 block of Paisley St.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged at Classic Cars, 565 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A phone was taken from an unlocked vehicle at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.
Theft: Checks were stolen from a residence in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.
March 10
Theft: A cellular phone was taken from the Austintown Community Center, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Felonious assault: A victim was struck with a flashlight in the 900 block of Compass West.
Stolen: An Austintown Police Department club was stolen in the residential 4000 block of Deer Creek Court. Police have a male suspect.
March 11
Identity theft: Charges were reported to have been made to the victim's credit card from a residence in the 3000 block of Chaucer Lane.
Theft: A total $49 worth of food was stolen from Belleria Pizza, 3632 Mahoning Ave.
Disturbance: A large fight took place at Billy's Bar, 40 S. Meridian Road.
March 12
Obstructing official business: Police arrested a man for giving fake information on a traffic stop on Pembrook Road.
Breaking and entering: Numerous items were stolen from a construction trailer in the 1000 block of North Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damage: A door was damaged at the Checkered Flag Restaurant, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
March 13
Drug offense: Police arrested a Campbell man on a charge of possession of marijuana at Raccoon and Burkey roads.
Drug offense: Police arrested an Austintown man for possession of marijuana at Rosemont Avenue and Westgate Boulevard.
Criminal damage: A bedroom window was broken out at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: A leather coat, purse and diamond ring were stolen from a vehicle at Noday's Lounge, 3713 Oakwood Ave. The vehicle's rear window had been broken out.
Drug offense: Police charged a 17-year-old boy for drug abuse of marijuana and of drug paraphernalia at Club Kiss, 1743 S. Raccoon Road. The teen was released to his father.
Attempted burglary: The lock was damaged at an apartment in the 4000 block of Raccoon Road.
