Kathryn Grafinger, Kyle Vuchak plan December rite

XGRAND ISLAND, N.Y. -- Gregory and Suzanne Grafinger, 553 Pin Oak Circle, are announcing the engagement of the daughter, Kathryn Lynn Grafinger of the same address, and Kyle Alexander Vuchak, 655 Rifle Range Road, Monterey, Calif.
Parents of the future groom are Theresa and Albert Crabbs, 3589 Sodom Hutchings Road, Cortland, and Alan and Christine Vuchak of York, S.C.
The bride-elect graduated from Grove City College, Grove City, Pa., with a bachelor's degree in education. She is pursuing a master's degree in special education at Buffalo State College, Buffalo, N.Y.
The prospective groom earned a bachelor's degree in business from Grove City College. He is a specialist with the U.S. Army and is studying Arabic at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, Calif.
The couple will be united in marriage during an open ceremony they have planned for 3:30 p.m. Dec. 19 at First Presbyterian Church in Buffalo. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Harry's Harbor Grill, also in Buffalo.
