Family events set in celebration of Wellmans 50th

XNORTH LIMA -- Family members will join Mr. and Mrs. Pete Wellman, 11618 South Ave., as the couple celebrate 50 years of marriage during a dinner party to be held at T.J.'s in the Holiday Inn, Boardman, and during a trip to Niagara Falls Canada.
Hosts for the events will be their children and their spouses, Tom and Patty Roller and Beverly Wellman, all of North Lima, Chris and Marilyn Hatch of Canfield, Tom and Cheryl Hudzik of Salem, and the couple's five grandchildren.
The former Shirley Arkwright and Mr. Wellman were united in marriage March 17, 1954, at Paradise United Church of Christ in Canfield, where they are members.
Mrs. Wellman is an office secretary with South Range High School, and Mr. Wellman is employed at Wellman's Flower Shop. The couple are the former owners of the Idle Hour Restaurant which they operated for many years.
The anniversary celebration will be continued during a reception to be held in honor of the couple in June. Invitations will be issued for that event.
