XBOARDMAN -- St. Charles Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 14 for the wedding of Lisa Marie Colla and Christopher Alan Sammartino. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Colla, 8551 Ivy Hill Drive, Poland, and Joanne Colla 43 Green Bay Drive, Boardman. Mr. Sammartino is a son of Laura Sammartino, 1163 Red Tail Hawk.
The Rev. Daniel Venglarik officiated, and a reception was held at Antone's Banquet Centre. After a honeymoon trip to Maui, the couple are living at 8040 St. Rosario Place, Canfield.
The bride wore a silk satin strapless gown detailed with beading along the bodice and waist. The skirt featured a bustled train.
Matron of honor was Danielle Scianna, and bridesmaids were Samantha Palkovic, Jennifer Colla, Jennifer Sammartino, Laura Ciminero, Maureen LaCivita, Ryan Dillon, Rebecca Smith, Stacey Nosal, Kristina McGover, Katie Warden and Carrie Kreps. They wore cranberry and ivory gowns. Gabrielle Scianna was flower girl.
Matthew Sammartino and Chad Scianna were best men, and groomsmen were Larry Sammartino, Anthony Colla, Peter Colla, Frank Wanat, Paul Wanat, Michael Ciminero, Matthew Colla, Robert Stackhouse, Richard Garchar and Michael Pichette. Ring bearer was Chad Scianna Jr.
Mrs. Sammartino graduated from Akron Barber College and is a barber at Colla's Barber Shop.
Her husband is new-car sales manager with Youngstown Buick Pontiac GMC Truck.
