XCANFIELD -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 3 p.m. ceremony Feb. 7 as Candace Gaetano and James J. Lipjanic, both of 8489 Crystal Drive, Boardman, were united in marriage at the Old North Church of Canfield.
The Rev. Tom Fennell presided at the wedding for the daughter of Anthony and Janet Gaetano, 40 White Oak Court, and son of George Lipjanic of Youngstown and Anita Kopatich of Boardman.
The couple were honored during a reception at St. Lucy Parish Hall in Campbell before leaving for a western Caribbean cruise. They live in Boardman.
The bride's strapless pale pink sheath gown featured pearl beading and a detachable train.
Wearing a silver gown was the groom's sister and honor attendant, Karen Vargo. Flower girl was the bride's daughter, Lindsay O'Nesti in a pink and white gown.
Serving as best man was Michael Lipjanic, the groom's brother, and ushers were Dr. Robert Gaetano and Chip Gaetano, bothers of the bride; Brian Battaglia, the groom's nephew; and Mike Vargo , his brother-in-law. Ring bearer was the bride's son, Andrew O'Nesti.
The bride and groom are insurance agents in Boardman.
Mrs. Lipjanic graduated from Youngstown State University and received her insurance license from the state of Ohio.
Her husband holds a degree in hospitality management from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. He was a manager in the hospitality business for 20 years in South Florida before relocating to the Boardman area and receiving his insurance license from the state of Ohio.
