Adams, Burroughs wedding to be in Los Angeles

XThe engagement of Amy M. Adams and Alfredo J. Burroughs, both of 32 Continental Drive, Hampton, Va., is being announced by her stepfather, Maurice Cousin, 514 Murray Hill Drive, Liberty, and the prospective groom's parents, James and Augustina Burroughs, 1159 W. 71st St., Los Angeles, Calif.
Miss Adams, a daughter of the late Willis Adams Jr., is pursuing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education at Thomas Nelson College in Newport News, Va. She is a sales associate with Victoria's Secret in Newport News.
Mr. Burroughs is a staff sergeant with the U.S. Air Force and is stationed at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton.
The couple will be married at 3 p.m. June 12 at the Church of the Living God in Los Angeles, and a reception will be held afterward at the Hacienda Hotel, also in Los Angeles.
