WHERE IN THE WORLD ...: Youngstown State University sponsored a Youth Scientists day camp on campus. Above, Brian Friedrich, 12, of West Middlesex, Pa., used a global positioning unit Tuesday to determine his elevation when he sat upon a large rock. Left, Sarah Ritchey, 11, of Sharon, Pa., fills out her papers for her global positioning activity. Pupils also learned about geology and space and were escorted by university staff to labs and science classrooms.
