CANFIELD CITY
June 21
Marijuana and drug paraphernalia: Police arrested a 17-year-old Youngstown boy on charges of drug possession of marijuana, possessing and concealing, delinquent child; and an 18-year-old Austintown man was arrested on charges of drug abuse-marijuana, possessing and concealing, delinquent child and possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of East Main Street and Manor Hill. Police found a plastic bag of suspected marijuana, a plastic bag of suspected marijuana seeds and a suspected marijuana pipe.
June 24
Theft: Police arrested a 34-year-old Warren woman accused of shoplifting at CVS drugstore, 601 E. Main St. She was caught stealing makeup and glasses and also was arrested for being in possession of the prescription drug Xanax. She also was charged with drug abuse.
June 25
Soliciting/falsification: Police arrested four men and a woman. The men were charged with solicitation and the woman was charged with falsification after police were called because solicitors were reported in the 300 block of Fairground Boulevard and later moved to the Hillside area. The group was representing a subscription agency from Las Vegas, Nev.
Auto theft: A 1995 Pontiac Sunfire was stolen from an apartment at 225 Carriage Lane.
June 26
Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested an 18-year-old Salem man on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and curfew violation, a second 18-year-old Salem woman on charges of drug paraphernalia, and a 17-year-old Salem male juvenile and a 16-year-old Salem male juvenile on charges of curfew violation. Police found three suspected marijuana pipes and rolling papers.

Breaking and entering: Phone wires were cut and a door pried open at Austin Manor, 3104 Canfield-Niles Road.
Breaking and entering: Money was taken from Adam's Appliance, 1747 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Tools were taken from a vehicle in the residential 2000 block of Fox Chase.
Breaking and entering: A garage was entered and tools were stolen from the residential 10 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
June 22
Attempted burglary: Police questioned a suspect in an attempted burglary in the residential 400 block of Forest Hill Drive.
Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown at a house in the 100 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Burglary: A landlord removed property from an apartment in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.
Theft: Food was stolen at Denny's, 4927 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An AM-FM CD player was stolen from a vehicle at Blue Ribbon Motors, 4004 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A credit card was reported stolen in the residential 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Notre Dame Drive.

Breaking and entering: Recording equipment was taken from WRTK, 5380 W. Webb Road.
Burglary: A credit card was taken from a residence in the 3000 block of Riblet Avenue.

Theft: A cell phone was stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Falcon Drive.
Theft: A stereo face plate was stolen from a residence in the residential 4000 block of Alderwood Drive.
Criminal damaging: A mailbox was blown up in the 5000 block of Country Trail.
Theft: A stereo face plate was stolen from a residence in the 200 block of South Main Street.
June 26
Dumping: A male suspect is accused of dumping refuse at Lanterman and Meridian roads.
June 27
Theft: A Galaxy CB was stolen by a white male at Pilot Oil, 1156 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Carrying a concealed weapon: Police arrested a man and placed him in the Mahoning County jail for carrying a knife at State Route 46 and Interstate 80.
Criminal damaging: Lawn damage was reported at Creatura Barber Shop, 1501 S. Raccoon Road.
Burglary: DVDs, jewelry, cash and prescription drugs were taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Ave.

Drug offense: Police arrested a Youngstown woman for possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor, at Rosemont and Elmwood avenues.
