His two-run blast in the eighth gave Mahoning Valley a 6-5 win over Brooklyn.
BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Chris Clem's two-out, two-run homer in the eighth inning was the difference as the Mahoning Valley Scrappers evened their record at 5-5 Sunday with a 6-5 victory over the Brooklyn Cyclones in a New York-Penn League game at KeySpan Park.
With the Scrappers ahead 4-3, Clem sent a Kris Regas pitch over the left-field wall, scoring Brett Parker, who had singled to lead off the inning.
