Rivera jubilee celebrated during dinner party

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Alberto Rivera, 3464 N. Wendover Circle, were guests of honor during a dinner party June 3 at Alberini's restaurant in Niles to mark their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the honorees' children, Sonia Rivera-Means of Boston, Olga Rivera of Boardman, Virginia Gardi of Hubbard, Albert Rivera of San Jose, Calif., and Rudy Rivera of Youngstown.
The former Maria Hernandez and Mr. Rivera were married June 3, 1954, at St. John the Baptist Church in Campbell.
Mrs. Rivera retired in 1985 from Brentwood Originals, where she was a sewer.
Retiring in 1977 from Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co., Mr. Rivera was a laddleman and steel pourer.
They are members of Sons of Boriquen and Organization Civica y Cultural Hispana Americana. They also belong to Santa Rosa DeLima in Campbell.
The family circle includes seven grandchildren.
