XPOLAND -- Nilsa Criado, 1322 Mathews Road, became the bride of Jonathan Sorelle, 3100 Meanderwood Drive, Canfield, during a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. May 29 at Holy Family Church with Monsignor William Connell officiating.
The daughter of Angel and Olga Criado of the Mathews Road address and the son of Norma and Donald Sorelle, 109 Keene Road, Acushnet, Mass., received guests during a reception at the Holiday Inn South, Boardman.
The couple honeymooned in Cape Cod, Mass. They live at the groom's address.
A registered nurse, Mrs. Sorelle is employed by St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing from Youngstown State University.
Dr. Sorelle earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Marist College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and a medical degree at New York Medical College, Valhalla, N.Y., and also graduated from Universidad Autonona De Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He is a lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserves and a surgical resident at St. Elizabeth.
The bride's gown featured a full tulle skirt accented with beads.
Honor attendant was Kelly Mesaros, and bridesmaids were Lisa Sorelle, the groom's sister; Lisette and Julia Sandoval, the bride's cousins; and Shelly Arent. They wore yellow dresses. Her niece, Gabriella Criado, was flower girl.
Best man was Thanh Van Le. Groomsmen were Angelo and Steve Criado, the bride's brothers, and Ben Mayhew, the groom's brother-in-law. Ring bearer was Alex Criado, her nephew.
