XAUSTINTOWN -- The Rev. James Korda officiated at 2 p.m. May 29 at St. Joseph Church for the wedding of Michele D. Luther and Christopher D. Monks.
Parents of the couple are John and Donna Luther, 4583 Deopham Green Drive, and Kenneth and Anella Monks of Hazleton, Pa.
A reception was held at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and are living in Greensburg, Pa.
A princess-style A-line gown of white satin was worn by the bride. It was enhanced with re-embroidered lace, pearls and sequins, and the skirt flowed to a cathedral train.
Rebecca Arden was maid of honor, and Carla Mattiussi was bridesmaid. They wore black and white gowns.
The groom's father performed the duties of best man, and groomsman was the bride's brother, David Luther.
Mrs. Monks is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in applied science. She is a nutritionist II with WIC in Pittsburgh.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Mr. Monks is a staff engineer with Sony Corp. in New Stanton, Pa.
