Grecian event set in Mill Creek Park



Fund-raising event will feature musical entertainment and a Greek feast.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Mill Creek Park will provide the setting for a "Greek Odyssey" garden party to be sponsored by the Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens on July 30.
Beginning at 6 p.m., participants will assume the role of living statues as they portray Greek gods and goddesses. The entertainment will continue with performances by authentic Greek dancers, and music by Kirk Kupensky, harpist, and the Syntagma Greek Band. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be available in the area overlooking Lake Glacier, and afterward a Greek feast will be served in the Olympic Court.
Tickets for the event are $60 for standard with $10 tax deductible, and $90 for patrons with $40 tax deductible. For ticket information and an invitation to the party, call (330) 740-7116.
Proceeds from the garden party will benefit Fellows Riverside Gardens.
