Everett jubilee is observed during reception



XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Douglas R. K. Everett of Youngstown will be feted during a dinner reception in July at the Holiday Inn South in Boardman for the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. Invitations will be issued.
The event will be hosted by the honorees' children and their spouses, Douglas and Barbara Everett of Chesterfield, Mo.; Ruth Anne and Frank Tarantine of Youngstown; David and Patty Everett of Canfield; and Kathy and John Emrich of Boardman.
The former Joan Crytzer and Mr. Everett were married June 12, 1954, at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church.
Six grandchildren complete the family circle.
Mr. and Mrs. Everett are members of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church. She is a Sunday school and Bible school teacher and member of Pleasant Grove Women. He was the director of music for 30 years and an adult Sunday school teacher.
Mrs. Everett is a homemaker. Retiring in 1993, she worked as a teacher's aide at Peg-Mar Preschool in Boardman. She also is a member of the Auxiliary of Gideons International.
Mr. Everett is the owner and president of Aberdeen Construction Co. He founded the company in 1974 and has been in business more than 30 years. He also worked at the Edward J. DeBartolo Corp., Hubbard Estates Co. and United Construction.
A 50-year member of Kiwanis International, Mr. Everett was elected district governor in 1987. He is a member of Gideons International, a past president of Youngstown Playhouse and a founder of the Mill Creek Junior Baseball League. Mr. Everett was in the U.S. Army Air Corps and served during World War II in Guam.
