CARLA DOBKOWSKIMICHAEL BETTROSS
XPOLAND -- Michael A. Bettross of Poland and his bride, the former Carla L. Dobkowski, also of Poland, accepted congratulations during a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman after their wedding May 22 at Holy Family Church.
The Rev. Matthew Mankowski officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Myron Dobkowski of Poland and Candice Dobkowski of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and the son of Gerard and Louise Bettross of Ellsworth.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba and Las Vegas. They live in Poland.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and from Ursuline College, Pepper Pike, with a master's in community counseling and art therapy. She is a child and family therapist at Human Services Center, New Castle, Pa. The groom is the director of Community Corrections Association, Youngstown. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Mount Union College, Alliance.
Swarovski crystals embellished the bride's white chiffon gown styled in a strapless design.
Beth Dobkowski was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Lisa Letessa, Rhonda Bowser, Rachelle Caldon, Katelyn McMurray, Brandy Sekula, Susan Bettross and Apryl Seide. They wore mango-colored dresses.
Best man was Jeffery Bettross. Groomsmen were John Bohurjak, Brian Mayorga, John Dobkowski, Brian Gbur, Gregory Bettross and Keith Seide.
Also participating were Rachel Hull and Brandon Rozzi.
