51 YSU athletes gain Horizon League's Academic Honor Roll

INDIANAPOLIS -- Fifty-one Youngstown State athletes were named to the Horizon League's 2004 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Overall, 490 league student-athletes made the team. To be named to the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must participate in a league sport, have completed three semesters at the same institution and have a cumulative grade-point average above 3.25.
The YSU student-athletes who made the Honor Roll in golf were: Gina Abruzzino, Carmen DiPenti, Craig Hart, Lori Hatcher and Josh Zarlenga.
Cross country/track and field athletes were Andrea Bardy, Joe Bruderly, Jarrod Davis, Mike DeToro, Lori Griffin, Chris Hine, Leslie Johnson, Catherine Krupko, Kim Lammers, Dave Mealy, Anthony Orcena, Larissa Papach, Jeremy Riehm, Emily Schnitkey, Nick Smith and Katie Williams.
Swimmers and divers are: Lena Arens, Danielle Blagg, Megan Blazek, Erin Carter, Jordan Dunn, Erin Hanson and Kalyn Leveto.
Basketball players are Adam Baumann, Tara Fleming, Devin Novak, Jen Perugini, Ashlee Russo and Melissa Tarrant.
Baseball and softball players are Brian Boone, Brandon Caipen, Matt Gnacinski, Kevin Libeg, Jim Lipinski, Kelly Murphy, Amber Smith, Josh Wells and Paul Yates.
Volleyball players are Annie Buschur, Crystal Duncan, Abby Ettenhofer and Angie Pasquinelli. Soccer players are Maura Patton, Kara White and Jessica Yarter.
