SANDLOT BASEBALL Sugar stages uprising in 10th to spill Express
Livi Steel rolled as Marc Tanner and Mike Busin teamed for a two-hitter.
STRUTHERS -- Dave Sugar Excavating scored seven runs in the top of the 10th inning to turn back the Youngstown Express, 12-5, in the Class B League Wednesday at Cene Park.
The game was the completion of a battle suspended last week.
Dan DeLuca, Chris Aracich and Joel Imler each had two hits for Sugar (5-16). Brian Banger and Steve Bowles each had three hits for the Express (1-20).

Craig Hritz hit a two-run single in the second inning for the winners (6-16). Steve Stanlein and Tom Williams each had two hits for the Express (1-21).
Livi Steel 10, Roth Brothers 0
Marc Tanner and Mike Busin combined on a two-hitter for Livi (15-6).
Brian Youchak had a triple, while Busin, Justin Byler and Josh Geric hit doubles for Livi.
Roth is 3-18.
Rondinelli Tuxedo 7, Astro Falcons 4
Doug Brown homered and Ryan Jones tripled for Rondinelli (11-11).
Brandon Skoff doubled for the Falcons (17-5), who led 3-0 in the top of the second inning.
Mink Financial 6, Youngstown Propane 0
Ryan Myers tossed a complete-game shutout to propel Mink (14-7) past Propane (8-13). He allowed just three hits while striking out seven and walking one.
Dave Piersante, Ryan Hallapy and Pat Elias each had two hits for Mink. Hallapy added three RBIs, and Mike Brown a triple.
Mike Evans suffered the loss.
Wharmby Sports 7, Koch Construction/Line Drive 5
Wharmby scored three runs in the fifth inning for the win.
J.C. McCoy had three hits for the winners, including a triple, and double, to produce two RBIs. Pitcher Mike Holmes improved his record to 5-0, allowing three earned runs on seven hits.
Mike Eliseo tripled for Koch/Line Drive while Aaron Boris and Anthony Porter doubled.
Tom Enyeart took the loss.

WARREN -- Cedric Turner's three hits included a three-run homer as Bazetta-Cortland Optimists defeated Shevies, 9-8. Greg Bungo was the winning pitcher, striking out seven in five innings.
Nick Pompeo doubled twice for Shevies.
Champion Molded Plastics 13, Lone Wolf Freight Systems 8
Evan Agona's four hits included a triple for Molded. Winning pitcher Nick Carrucci whiffed five batters in five innings.
Frank Tempesta's four hits included two homers, one a three-run shot for Lone Wolf.
