Rampage brings fines, jail for man



CAMPBELL -- John Oracio III, 24, of Victor Avenue, Youngstown, was sentenced Tuesday to jail and fined on a handful of charges stemming from events at a Coitsville Road home last winter.
According to police, Oracio took a snow blower from the front porch of his former girlfriend's house and used it to smash the windshield of a car belonging to a man she was dating.
Then, the report states, Oracio rammed the man's vehicle with his car, damaging the rear bumper.
He was charged with driving under suspension, improper backing, domestic violence and two counts of criminal damaging and endangering.
Oracio was fined $250 plus court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail on the charge of driving under suspension, with credit for 38 days served and the balance suspended. He was also fined $35 plus costs for improper backing, $100 plus costs and 30 days in jail with credit for 30 days served on the domestic violence charge.
One of the criminal damaging and endangering charges with dismissed; on the other, Oracio was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 38 days served and the balance suspended.
