Muransky assumes vacant director seat on Sky Bank board



YOUNGSTOWN -- Edward Muransky has replaced Parker McHenry on Sky Bank's board of directors for its Mahoning Valley region.
Muransky is chairman and founder of Ohio Management Group; founder, chairman and chief executive of the Surgery Center at Southwoods in Boardman; and founder, chairman and chief executive of Chestnut Land Co., the holding company for Auntie Anne's Soft Pretzel franchises in the South and Midwest.
Muransky, of Poland, is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he was an All-American selection in football. He also played for the Oakland Raiders.
McHenry, of Austintown, retired from the Sky board after 15 years. He had been executive vice president of Mahoning National Bank when it was acquired by Sky in 1999. He was then appointed to Sky's board.
The bank also announced that Ben Post joined the regional board in November. He is secretary/treasurer of P & amp;S Equities in Mineral Ridge. The company develops residential and commercial real estate.
Post, of Girard, is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he majored in accounting.
Sky Bank has regional boards and management in different geographic areas. It is part of Sky Financial Group, which is based in Bowling Green.
