August rite set by Miss Medvec, Buddy Haught

XHUBBARD -- The engagement of Nicole R. Medvec, 2400 Cowan Blvd., Fredericksburg, Va., and Buddy A. Haught of the same address, is being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Michael R. and Donna Medvec, 2150 Hubbard-Masury Road.
Parents of the future groom are Ernest and Ellen Haught, 711 E. Reynolds St., New Castle, Pa.
The Corinthian in Sharon, Pa., will be the setting for the couple's wedding and reception Aug. 7. The ceremony will take place at 2:30 p.m. followed by a late-afternoon reception. Invitations will be issued.
Miss Medvec graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in early childhood-elementary education. She is the assistant director of Children of America Educational Learning Facility in Fredericksburg.
Mr. Haught graduated from Butler County Community College in Butler and from Allegheny Community College in Pittsburgh, where he received a degree in criminal justice. He is an operations management consultant with Lowes Home Improvement Co. in Culpeper, Va.
