Little b (ages 15-16)
Rondinelli 14, Astro Falcons 10 -- Rondinelli (12-4) won a nine-inning contest in a rain-suspended game from Monday. Tom Popadak and Joe Iacobucci both had three hits and Ryan Kellar, Chuck Olesky, Jeff Musick and Ben Miller collected two hits apiece for Rondinelli. Kellar and Olesky doubled. Olesky had four RBIs and Iacobucci added three RBIs. Zach Russell picked up the win, pitching five strong innings of relief. Falcons were led by Jim Kreibel, who hit two home runs with five RBIs. Paul Rutchie, Jessie D'Amico, Kyle Smith and Jim Petrella all had two hits for Astro.
Rondinelli 6, Astro Falcons 1 -- Ben Miller (3-0) pitched a four-hitter for Rondinelli (13-4). Chuck Olesky, Joe Iacobucci, Ryan Kellar and Tom Popadak all collected two hits apiece and Iacobucci knocked in three for Rondinelli. Joe Rosko pitched a complete game for Astro despite suffering the loss.
Rondinelli 10, Mill Creek 0 -- Dave Diyorio (2-0) pitched a three-hit shutout for Rondinelli (11-4), striking out five and allowing no walks. Diyorio also led Rondinelli at the plate with three hits. Chuck Olesky and Jeff Musick both collected two hits.
Babe Ruth (ages 14-15)
Belleria 4, Sluggers 2 -- Andy Grzebieniak and Tom Powers both had two hits for Belleria while Greg Brown had two hits for Sluggers.
Line Drive 9, All Star Sports 3 -- Line Drive scored six runs in the second inning and three runs in the third. Joe Koch singled home two runs, Dean Porter had a single and Joe Strawinski had a double for Line Drive. Mike Popio pitched five innings and Koch pitched the final two. For All Star Sports, Nick Stubler and Joel Melnick had RBIs.
Line Drive 7, Astro Falcons 2 -- Line Drive had a six-run fourth inning. Dan Kubala had two singles and Dean Porter had a three-run triple. Scott Smith allowed one hit in six innings and Dom Silvestri closed out the seventh. Astro scored two in the seventh but came up short. Cameron Konor, Mark Turnbull and Paul Cene had hits for Astro.
All Star Sports 3, Sluggers 2 -- Joel Melnick drove in game-winning run in the sixth inning. Nick Turco had two triples for Sluggers.
Rondinelli 6, Kelley-Robb 0 -- Cory Collins pitched a complete game, striking out seven. Tony Brunetti and Cory Collins both singled and doubled. Matt Dado, Jesse Moses and Marc Gorvet singled for Rondinelli. John Madeline had two singles and Frank Palestro also singled for Kelley-Robb.
Sluggers 8, Kelley-Robb 5 -- Nick Turco and Joe Perrott both singled and doubled for Sluggers. Mike Conglose doubled and Greg Brown singled for Sluggers. Mike Carnahan, Andrew Wolf and Marcus Coonce singled for Kelley-Robb. Matt Lopuchovsky doubled, driving in two runs.
Tri-T Colt (ages 15-16)
Struthers Davidson-Becker 15, Struthers Daily Legal News 5 -- Mike Galletta, Tristan Suchora and Aaron Young hit doubles while Dan Monus, Ryan Spatholt and Steven Streb had two hits each to lead the offense. Jim Ritter pitched a complete game for the victory. Bobby Granchie, Rob Eggleston and Ryan Stanko had two hits each for Daily Legal News.
