WINDSOR -- Weekend at Whitewood is geared to women seeking a break from everyday responsibilities at home and work. The program will be July 9-11 at 4-H Camp Whitewood .
"Pioneer Days" will be the theme, and eduational programs will include campfire cooking, history of Schoenbrunn Village and planning for the distribution of non-titled property among family members.
The cost is $85 and includes meals, lodging and most programs. Registration deadline is June 30. Contact Mahoning County Extension office, 490 S. Broad St., Canfield, or call (330) 533-5538.
Collge vaccinations
NILES -- The Niles City Health Department will offer the meningitis vaccine to incoming college freshmen.
The vaccines will be issued Aug. 2-6. The $70 fee must be paid when registering. Registration is open through July 23. For information, call (330) 544-9000 ext. 3.

Ukrainian medical specialists: Through June 28; two Ukrainian physicians and two midwives are visiting Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon, Hermitage, Pa., to discuss therapies and procedures for health issues, such as osteoporosis, heart disease, menopause, breast care and bone health, that affect mature women.
Easter Seals Drive for Dough: Saturday and Sunday, Shops at Boardman Park; two-day fund-raising event; with Night at the Races, Molnar's BBQ dinner, a car show, Paranzono Bros. live auction, the Great Pretenders and B.J. Alan Fireworks; proceeds benefit Easter Seals projects in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
