XBOARDMAN -- Nakesha Simpson, 3438 W. Pine Lake Road, Columbiana, and Jason Oliver, 1567 Brownlee Ave., Youngstown, exchanged marriage vows before Judge Scott Hunter during a ceremony at 5 p.m. June 3 at Mahoning County Court.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception held at the Shangri La in Canfield.
Parents of the bride are John and Charlene Simpson of the West Pine Lake Road address. The groom is a son of Russ and Dorene Oliver of the Brownlee Avenue address and the late Stacey Morrison.
The bride wore a princess-style strapless gown designed with a jeweled bodice.
Mrs. Oliver is employed as a hostess with Eat 'N Park restaurant. She is attending ETI Technical College of Niles.
Lance Cpl. Oliver, who is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, is stationed at Camp LaJeune in North Carolina. He is awaiting deployment to Iraq.
Wearing red dresses were Shawn Simpson and Mercedes Simpson, both of Columbiana, the sisters of the bride.
Groomsmen were the fathers of the bride and groom.
