Mrs. Bartelmay seated as president of area federation of women's clubs



LIBERTY TOWNSHIP -- Youngstown Area Federation of Women's Clubs held its annual awards luncheon and installation of officers May 19 at Youngstown Country Club.
Officers for 2004-06 were installed by Mrs. Chester Bailey. They are Mrs. Norman Bartelmay, president; Mrs. Forrest Molinaro, first vice president; Mrs. John Higgins, second vice president; Mrs. Lloyd Vandervoort, third vice president; Mrs. William Schwers, recording secretary; Carol James, corresponding secretary; and Mrs. Robert Schlabaugh, treasurer.
Mrs. Paul Easton, outgoing president, was honored for her work, and members with 25 years of service also were recognized.
Mrs. John Rickert presented the high school scholarship to Melanie O'Brien, a senior at Ursuline High School. Mrs. Joseph E. Smith presented the nontraditional scholarship to Candi Dorman, a senior at Youngstown State University.
The community service award was presented to Virginia Axtmann, and Mrs. Vandervoot was named Club Woman of the Year.
