Miss Lago to wed Jeffrey Jones in August ceremony

XYOUNGSTOWN -- John and Marie Lago, 664 Santa Monica Drive, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Marie Lago, 8568 Clover Glade Drive, Lewis Center, and Jeffrey Allen Jones, also of the Lewis Center address.
Parents of the prospective groom are Ken and Toni Jones, 1811 Halbert Drive.
Miss Lago graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor's degree in special education and is completing a master's of education degree at OSU. She is a teacher with Ohio School for the Deaf in Columbus.
Mr. Jones earned a bachelor's degree in history at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., and a master's in deaf education at Western Maryland College, Westminster, Md. He is a teacher at Ohio School for the Deaf and also teaches American Sign Language classes at Columbus State Community College in Columbus.
St. Rose Church in Girard will be the setting for the couple's wedding planned for 2 p.m. Aug. 14. An early evening reception is planned at Tiffany's in Brookfield. Invitations will be extended for both events.
