Paul Cene of Youngstown aced the 137-yard 16th hole at Tippecanoe Country Club, using a 9-iron.George Pintea of Boardman aced the 183-yard 13th hole at Tippecanoe Country Club, using a 4-iron. The shot was witnessed by Roger Kreps and John Sullivan.Ernie White aced the 180-yard, 7th hole at Mill Creek golf course using a 4-iron. The shot was witnessed by Leon Kelly and Josh Zarlenga.Joe Haffner aced the 130-yard No. 5 hole at Donnybrook Golf Course with a pitching wedge. Witnesses were Tom Bigley, Sonny Gallow and Fred Price.Joe Conroy of Canfield aced the No. 9 hole at Tippecanoe Country Club, 154 yards with a 7-iron. The shot was witnessed by Greg Stebelton.Ted Roberts of Warren scored his first-ever hole-in-one on the No. 3 hole at Tamer Win Golf Course in Cortland. He used a 7-iron on the 139-yard hole. Witnesses were George Chambers, Ken Jelley, William Pipenur and Dave Miller.Jim Mayberry of New Middletown aced the 180-yard, No. 11 hole using a 7-wood at Reserve Run. Mayberry finished with a round of 81.
