XBOARDMAN -- Erin M. Sheely, a daughter of Robert and Stephanie Sheely, 4305 New Castle Road, Lowellville, and William D. Lewis Jr., 37 W. Wood St., Lowellville, a son of William Sr. and Eileen Lewis, 226 Hopewell Drive, Struthers, were married at 1 p.m. May 22 at Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church. Monsignor Alexis Mihalik officiated.
After a reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, Youngstown, the couple left on a wedding trip to Riviera Maya in Mexico.
They live at the groom's address.
The bride's white organza gown was embellished with embroidery, pearls and crystals, and featured a cathedral train.
Berry-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Toni Janci and Michele McCaughtry, and the bridesmaids, Katie Schramm, Jennifer Toth, Korie Swanson, Shanna Janci and Chrissy Lucivjansky. Flower girl was Ainsley McCaughtry.
Shawn James and Keith McCaughtry shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Matt Sheely, Mario Mendozzi, Tommy Carchedi, Jason Schiraldi and Doug Tolley.
The bride, a sales associate with Gorant Candies, will graduate in August with a degree in community health from Youngstown State University.
The groom holds a degree in criminal justice from YSU and is a preload supervisor with the United Parcel Service in Youngstown, a wrap-around worker with the Youth Advocate Program in Sharon, Pa., and an assistant football coach in Lowellville.
