Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie hit the road for "The Simple Life 2: Road Trip" (8 p.m., Fox). They head out from Miami Beach in a bus without credit cards or cash. Their destination is Southern California.
The original summer network programming just keeps coming with two new Fox sitcoms: "Quintuplets" (8:30 p.m.) and "Method & amp; Red" (9:30 p.m.). The former is a family farce starring Andy Richter as the exasperated father of five kids. The latter features real-life rappers Method Man and Redman as hip-hop stars who move into -- and disrupt -- a staid gated community.
The new series "Into Character" (10 p.m., AMC) gives people a chance to step into a favorite film role -- not by acting, but by trying to "morph" into the character. Tonight, Nate Rubin, a lifelong boxing fan who has never stepped into a ring, gets a chance to be Rocky for three rounds at Philadelphia's Blue Horizon. Preceded, starting at 5 p.m., by "Rocky" and "Rocky II."
In "Meet Ashlee" (10:30 p.m., MTV), cameras follow young actress Ashlee Simpson as she turns to music and tries to become richer and more famous, just like her big sister Jessica. Preceded by the start of the second season for Jessica and husband Nick Lachey on "Newlyweds" (10 p.m., MTV).
